Monday at 1:45 pm Gilmer County OES notified Tyler OEM that a search was underway for a missing person. We were asked to be on standby. An elderly lady had wondered off. We received the news at 2:15 that the subject was found and in good health. tjc

New Martinsville Man was reported missing Friday night at 11 pm. Local fire, police and Tyler County was searching the area when K9 indicated that he was in a local home. He was found sleeping on a neighbor’s sofa. tic
