September 4, 2012Here are some updates…
1.Our regular monthly OEM/CERT/Sar meeting will be moved ahead to September 13th at 7pm at our office in Middlebourne.
2.The Pipeline Safety Dinner will be held the same day at 5:30pm at the Comfort Suites in Mineral Wells. I have reserved 12 seats and can get more if needed.
3.The team will be participating in the Paden City Labor Day Parade this Monday the 3rd at noon.
4.The tem has been asked again this year to help with the Tyler County Cross Country Meet Tuesday the 4th at 4pm. Anyone that can help provide communications is asked to be at the school parking lot at 3:45pm.
5.We are planning a 48 hour Fundamentals of Search and Rescue (FUNSAR) training for late October. We are limited to 20 students.
6.We are working on a Sheltering class and a special advanced weather class.
PLEAE LET ME KNOW RIGHT AWAY IF YOU PLAN TO ATTEND ANY OF THESE EVENTS!
I sent a message out yesterday on the Reverse 911 system. Please let me know if you did not receive it. Some of you replied back but the replies went to the server and I did not get them. I’ll be working on this.
