TESTING the Reverse 911 System

We have been testing the Reverse 911 call-out system!!

Today we sent the August meeting notice out by email through the new system. You should have received the notice.

The email appears to come from “citywatch@marshallcountywv.org“. This is the home of the system. Since it is sent out to over 300 people, it may appear as spam or phishing to some email systems. You may need to add this to your “safe sender” list.

We have also tested the phone call capabilities of the new system. You may have received a call from what appears as the Marshall County Courthouse, again that’s because that is where the system originates from.

Soon we wil be using the system to do all of our notifications. Please let me know if you have not received a call or email. We also have the ability to add texting to the call-out.
