Storm Spotter Training Went Well

We have three events coming up this month. First, our monthly OEM meeting will be this Thursday, April 7th at 7pm at our office in Middlebourne. We will be working on plans for our next outdoor SAR training. Snacks will be provided. Call me if you want to meet for dinner.
We are planning to start a new series of Terrain Navigator Pro digital mapping classes on Monday, April 18th at 6pm at our office in Middlebourne. Snacks will be provided.
Our next Storm Spotter Class will be Saturday April 30th, starting at 10am down stairs in the Middlebourne Senior Center. Having examined many of the weather hazards common to our area, we will now focus on how critical weather information is communicated while working in the field. Expect plenty of hands on fun and learning as we explore the ins and outs of weather briefings and their importance to ensure weather awareness and safety! Lunch will be provided.
Many of our volunteers have indicated that they would like to work in commands staff positions. These are the trainings that will help our team fill these positions.
The LEPC will meet April 7th at 9am downstairs in the Senior Center.
