“Think Inside the Box” this Friday
July 12, 2011Saturday’s Search and Rescue Training is a Go!
July 21, 2011It’s time for the last late summer cadaver school by Heartland K-9’s. It will be on Sept. 10 & 11, 2011 in Amherst, Lorain County, OH. This school is open to K-9 handlers as well as support staff. Topics covered will include procuring, using, storing training aides; setting up realistic training scenarios, record keeping and crime scene preservation.
Most of the weekend school will include hands-on work for K-9/handler teams. There will be work for new, intermediate and advanced K-9’s and handlers. As always, there will be a certificate of completion at the end of the school. This does not designate the K-9 or K-9/handler team as a certified cadaver team.
Tuition still the same – $150 for K-9/handler team, $50 for extra K-9, and $100 for non-handler students. Contact instructor Jeanette Smith via private email at redbird53@yahoo.com or via telephone at 440-223-8212. Dog friendly motels are available in the area. Camping, too.
