June Volunteer Meeting

There will be a Technician Class Amateur Radio training and test sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The Church is located at:
130 Paddock Green Drive
New Martinsville, WV 26155
(Located behind the Department of Highways building off Rt 2 in northern New Martinsville)
Classes:
Training: Saturday May 28 from 10:00 – 2:00 Snacks provided
Training: Saturday June 4 from 10:00 – 2:00 Snacks provided
Training and test: Saturday June 11 from 9:00 – 4:00 Snacks and pizza provided
The test fee of $18.00 is due at the start of the test.
A printed study guide including all the questions and correct answers will be provided at the first session. All three days will cover a different part of the test. You do not have to attend all sessions but it is recommended.
Bill Sams, KE8KR will be teaching the first two sessions. Kenny Harris, WA8LLM, will be teaching the crash course during the third session. The test will be given immediately after the crash course. This system of teaching has proven to be one of the easiest way to earn the Technician Class Amateur Radio license!
