July Search and Rescue Training

Team,

This is a reminder that we will have a three and a half day “canine water cadaver training” starting July 20th in Sistersville. The instructor will be well known Lisa Higgins from Louisiana. We can have up to 10 canines and handlers and as many support team members as we can get. We will need help working with the boats, providing communications and weather monitoring. There will be a lot of support work, just as if it were an actual search. Feel free to join in any days you can. Food and lodging will be provided.

If you plan to attend, please let me know in advance! We plan to have a safety meeting in my office Monday morning. Then we plan to go to Conaway Lake for the training. I WILL NOT HAVE SERVICE AT THE LAKE, so please let me know that you plan to attend so I can keep you updated of any changes.

This may be one of the best trainings we’ve ever had! Plan to bring your beach chair and join us.
