Search and Rescue Event

Folks,

This is a reminder about our Saturday, August 2nd, search and rescue training/exercise. We will starting Saturday morning NOT Friday!! We had to cancel the Friday plans.
We will start by setting the equipment up at 9am. Our partners from the National Weather Service be instructing us on using some newly developed technology. This will be a rare opportunity to not only see the technology that the NWS uses, but to learn to use some of it yourself!

After the weather training we will have a lunch. We are planning to have pulled pork BBQ, slaw, green beans, fruit salad, bottled water and coffee.

Directly after lunch we will do a mock search through the afternoon.
I NEED TO HEAR FROM YOU SO WE CAN PREPARE PLENTY OF FOOD!!! Even if you have told me, please let me know by email so I can make a list.

Do you plan to attend?
Are you bringing a trained canine or equine? If so we will include them in the search.
If you would like to bring sweets or snacks please let me know.

The event will take place at the beautiful Lantz Farm just outside Jacksonburg WV. Please look this up on a map or call me if you need directions. You can find photos and info through Google.
