Sunday, Oct 28 SAR Training

Everything is ready for Sunday’s SAR Training. We’ve set up three compass courses and the instructors have prepared the material for the topo map training. We will start as close to 1pm as we can. Don’t worry if you are a little late. This training will be good for beginners as well as a refresher for the experienced sar techs. This will also be a good class for hunters and hikers!
We are going to train at the Tyler County 4-H Camp. It is located 3 miles south of Middlebourne on Rt 18. If you are coming from Rt 2, you will go through Middlebourne and turn right across an iron bridge. Coming from Rt 50, you will follow Rt 18 past Boreman Elementary and the fairground. Turn left at the second iron bridge.
You can see the 4-H Camp from Rt 18. We will have our signs and banner at the turn off. Email me with any questions.

We plan to have hotdogs and sloppy joes with chips and drinks as a late afternoon snack.
This is our first training since the June disaster. I hope this gets us back on schedule.
