October 26, 2011We just got in from the search. We’re going back tomorrow. There were several hits today in the same area by several dogs.
We will start at 10am at the Midway Fire Dept at Alum Bridge, WV along WV RT 33 between Weston and Glenville…80.703829….39.042957. From Glenville go a couple of miles past the Alum Bridge School on the left and you will see a small red fire dept. sign pointing to the right. Go up this road a few miles until you see the NEW fire hall on the hill.
From Rt 2 or Rt 50 you will take Rt 18 towards Glenville and turn left onto St.Clair Road. Follow this for several miles and at the end you will see the fire station on the right. It took an hour and 10 minutes from Middlebourne.
We can use everyone. We need ground searchers, atv, equestrian and canine. We’ll have something for everyone to do. Our team will be managing the search under the oversight of DHS, WV SP and the FBI. MANY resources have been brought in for this search. We’ll have several other teams assisting.
