SAR Training UPDATE!

Our SAR training will be this Sunday, June 3rd starting at 1PM. We will be training at the Momentive Employee Park. We plan to work with patient packaging and moving a patient up a steep incline requiring the use of rescue ropes and pulley systems. We will also work with loading and securing the patient on our new UTVs. If time permits, we’ll have a class on heat related injuries. Mike Kelley has put this together and it is very good. We will have hot dogs and homemade sauce later in the afternoon. NWS says “Partly sunny with a high near 74.

The park is located just south of the Momentive Plant on Rt 2.
To get there;
From the north, come down Rt 2 through Sistersville and Friendly. Below Friendly you will cross a railroad track. Continue south 1 mile and the park is on the left.
From the south, come up Rt 2 through St Mary’s into Tyler County. You will then cross a railroad track. Continue north 1 mile and the park is on the right. We will have the banner out. There are restrooms, electricity and running water.
