Ohio River Search

I received the following message from Homeland Security. I will check with Bob Fowler Wed. morning to get his plans. The river will still be at Action Stage. I will be very cautious about getting near it or on it under these conditions.

“Bob Fowler ..Brooke Co EM and Sheriff Fergueson have made a request for possible resources to aid in a search in and along the Ohio River for the body of a person who jumped from the Market Street Bridge on 3/08/11…..obviously the current conditions are pretty poor now and we will not deploy anything until they improve a lot……we may try something Thursday if conditions are better…..we may need cadaver dogs…air assets…sonar boats, etc on both sides of the River….I will coordinate with Ohio assets before anything is set….if there are any safety issues will not deploy any assets……please advise your status for Thursday or Friday this week…thanks”
