October Schedule

Here is our latest schedule of activities!

First, our October meeting has been moved to Saturday the 3rd starting at 10am at our office in Middlebourne. Directly after the meeting, we will have a communications workshop. Please bring your radios and we will update the frequencies. We will also be testing our portable repeaters and getting everything ready for the WV SAR Exercise. Lunch will be provided.

The Momentive Health Fair will be October 8th starting at 8am and will run until 8pm. This year we are going to demonstrate the Project Lifesaver system. We hope to have several volunteers who can help out a few hours each.

The second cross country run starts at 4pm Thursday October 15th. This race should only last around half as long as the first race. We will need at least 8 operators for this event.

The WV Search and Rescue Exercise will be held at North Bend State Park on October 23rd and 24th. We need all available SAR team members as well as any volunteers who can help with the event to preregister. Food will be provided and camping will be available.
