July 18, 2013Team, our next search and rescue training event will be Sunday, June 30th at the Lantz Farm near Jacksonburg WV. We will start the training at 1pm.
Wheeling Jesuit University is allowing us the use this beautiful 500 acre farm for our training. It adjoins the Lewis Wetzel Public Hunting Area. The farm has restrooms, a shower house and a fully equipped, three story farmhouse. ATV use is restricted. We WILL be able to utilize our canine and horses to the max! This is truly the perfect place for our type of training! We will have dinner around 4pm, so you may want to grab lunch before you arrive.
The Lantz Farm is located around 25 minutes from New Martinsville out Rt20. Google the farm for photos, maps and details.
I will be sending out more details about the training next week. We would like to have as many CERT and SAR members attend as possible.
