GPS Training

Hi folks,

We are preparing to have another GPS class next week. We will start at 6pm, Thursday, August 28 at the Senior Center in Middlebourne.
We will go over the basics of using the Garmin ETrex Legend H. If you have your own GPS please bring it and your manual. We will have the team’s 12 units there for your use if you don’t have one. This training will be both indoors and outdoors.

This class will cover;
Basic GPS operations
Entering map datum
Setting position format
Traveling to a given coordinate
Relaying coordinates back to base
Operating the GPS at night
