Our monthly field training will resume August 12th at 10:00 AM for all field team members including ground and support teams, equestrian and canine handlers. We will be targeting both the new and the experienced members. This will start a series of sessions building up to a NASAR FUNSAR class. Topics over the next few sessions will include land navigation, compass, maps, survival, search techniques, GPS, proper equipment and clothing. The training will be a mix of indoor and outdoor activities. The mobile command trailer, boat, etc. will be brought into the training as needed.
This training will be held in the downstairs banquet room of the Senior Center in Middlebourne. I will send a reminder when the time gets closer.
