I spoke with Bob Fowler Wed. about the possibility of searching for the missing person. He indicated that the water and river bank conditions would make searching too hazardous for the time being.

I received the following message from Homeland Security. I will check with Bob Fowler Wed. morning to get his plans. The river will still be at Action Stage. I will be very cautious about getting near it or on it under these conditions.

The Wood County Civil Air Patrol has invited local volunteers to join in on a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training. Each student will receive a CERT backpack with gear!

There will be a Citizen Corps Council meeting at the Wetzel/Tyler Health Dept this Wed. the 16th at 9AM. Public input is always welcome.
