“State Police in Preston County say a teen is missing from the West Virginia National Guard Challenge Academy in Kingwood.
No one has seen 17-year-old Gatlin Jones since July 17 between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Police believe he’s heading towards the Clintonville area of Greenbrier County, where he is from.
Local volunteers and the Mountaineer Search and Rescue have been searching since Monday.
Gatlin is about 5’11” and weighs around 125 pounds. He has black hair cut in a short military style and blue eyes.

Since this is such a wide area search for someone who appears to be running away from authorities, our team is not responding at this time.
