Ham Radio Class, part 2

The second ham/amateur radio class will be Wednesday, August 3 at the WV Northern Community College in New Martinsville. The class will start at 6pm in room 110 and finish up around 9:00pm. Don Williams N8NUS will be going over each segment of the test and answering questions. The study guide is available for download on the blog under Info and Downloads. You can take the online practice test at www.qrz.com.

This class requires no commitment. Just come and check it out. After that you’ll have a couple of weeks to study the questions and answers before taking your 35 question multiple choice test.

This is a great opportunity to help your community. Amateur radio operators are always needed in large scale emergencies. It’s a great hobby.
