Search and Rescue Training

Everything is a go for this weekend’s training. Saturday morning we will meet at Camp Copperhead at 10am. The National Weather Service is saying “Mostly cloudy, with a high near 41. North winds around 6mph”. You can follow this at the Weather Link above.

We are preparing a navigation course. It will be a little more rugged then the field course we had last fall. We will be working/training everyone regardless of skill levels. Our main goal is to get the folks ready for the up and coming SAR Tech II field evaluation but we never forget our new folks. We will have a cookout in the afternoon. We should finish up around 5pm. Bring your gear and dress for the occassion. Camping is available.
